Alfreton Town Fellowship Community Credits
Credits are a way of demonstrating community support. When a person does something within the community which helps or benefits another person or group a credit is earned for each hour of activity.
There are many ways to earn credits... here are some examples which most people can do...
- Doing someones shopping for them
- Weeding a garden
- Mowing a lawn
- Helping someone less fortunate
- Washing a car
- Teaching or coaching someone to learn a new skill
- Listening to someone else's problems
- Giving advice or support
Trading credits for rewards.
You don't have to, but you may wish to trade your Alfreton Fellowship Community Credits for discounts, goods or services.
Professional organisations, individuals, groups and businesses can provide rewards for credits. Each organisation determines what services, discounts or credits they wish to offer and submit their request to the Fellowship. Once the request is approved, the information of the reward is added to the website for other people to view.
For example, ITPP Ltd offer anyone doing three hours of volunteering a web hosting & email service for twelve months worth £128.50. This means that one hours volunteering is equal in value to £42.83!
